Connected data help
Manage and delete YouTube data
Learn what each YouTube connection imports, how to follow a history import, and how to revoke access or delete Smart Manager's copy.
Choose what to connect
The ordinary YouTube connection imports subscriptions, liked and disliked videos, playlists, playlist items, and related metadata. It does not provide watch history, search history, Watch Later, or a complete authored-comment history.
YouTube History is a separate Google Data Portability import. You choose activity, comments, subscriptions, and playlist resource groups before Google asks for permission. You can also separately enable a reviewable evidence summary; it is off by default.
Manage an import
Open Settings, expand YouTube History, and review the current import status. Google can take minutes or several days to prepare a complete archive. Smart Manager shows which selected groups Google granted and continues only with those groups.
After Smart Manager stores a completed archive in your private data silo, it asks Google to reset the Data Portability authorization. Reconnect only when you want to import again.
Delete YouTube data
In Settings, select Disconnect on the exact YouTube or YouTube History connection you want to remove. Smart Manager first revokes or resets that Google authorization, stops any active import queue, and then deletes the records and review artifacts obtained through that connection.
Deleting your Smart Manager account also removes active account data through the account-deletion flow. For a verified deletion request or help with a partial failure, contact legal@smartmanager.ai.
Revoke access at Google
You can also remove Smart Manager in Google’s third-party access settings. To make sure the Smart Manager copy is deleted immediately, also disconnect the matching connection in Smart Manager or send a deletion request to legal@smartmanager.ai.
